What to Know?

The Andaman and Nicobar Islands is a group of more than 572 small Islands. It is located in the Bay of Bengal east of India but belonging to India as a union territory. Andaman & Nicobar Islands is recognized as a world-class eco-tourist destination to explore the under-water treasures of marine life. Andaman tour packages offer beautiful beaches, flora and fauna, wonderful wildlife, Adventure Water Sports. Tourists can do Snorkeling, Island Camping, Scuba Diving, trekking during Andaman holidays. Best time to visit Andaman is from the month of November to May. Prime tourist attractions of Andaman are Cellular Jail, Havelock Island, Corbyn’s Cove Beach, Ross Island, Viper Islands, Wandoor Beach and so on. The Cellular Jail located in Port Blair also known as Kalapani (Black Water). This prison was used in British rules to exile political prisoners.

ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrive Port Blair
Arrival at Port Blair Airport & move to the hotel with our envoy. After lunch start the breathtaking trip to Corbyn’s Cove Beach, one of the most picturesque, coconut palm fringed beach, 7 kms away from Port Blair town and to the Cellular Jail (Monday closed), and a place of pilgrimage for all freedom loving people. One can also view the history of the heroic freedom struggle which is brought alive in a moving Light & Sound Show at the Cellular Jail.

Day 2: Port Blair – Neil Island
Check out from the hotel and Depart to Neil Island by inter-island ferry (36 kms by sea from Port Blair), an island with clear turquoise sea and white sand beaches. Check in to your hotel. Post breakfast visit Sitapur viewpoint. Then go to Bharatpur Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in Andaman. You can take a ride in a glass bottomed boat to see under water corals and marine life (Optional – extra cost). Late afternoon visit the Laxmanpur Beach 2 to view the natural coral bridge and also go to LaxmanpurBeach1 to view the sunset. Evening free or at own. Overnight stay at Neil Island.

Day 3 : Neil Island – Havelock Island

After a leisure breakfast, check out from the hotel and depart to Havelock Island by ferry to Havelock Island (54 kms by sea from Port Blair). Enjoy your afternoon at the World Famous Radha Nagar Beach (Beach number 7). Overnight stay at respective Hotel / Resort at Havelock Island.

Day 4 : Havelock Island

Entire day at leisure. Night stay at Havelock Island. (On direct payment basis, one can leave for Elephant beachon sharing boat. This beach has one of the best coral reefs in the world & the underwater marine life is very lively & colourful. Snorkeling shall be provided complimentary for the couple out here. Please do not forget to take snacks for the trip and lots of drinking water & changing dress for the day trip or advised. After the completion of the coral island tour, return back to resort in Havelock Island.

Day 5 : Havelock Island – Port Blair

Entire Morning at leisure. After checking out from the Resort by 1000 hrs, leave your baggage at the Reception of the Resort and proceed to Kala Pathar by road. Get a glimpse of various Resorts & Dive centers enroute. Return back to your resort for lunch.  Sail for Port Blair in the evening. Upon return from Havelock Island overnight stay at respective Hotel at Port Blair. 

Day 6 : Port Blair – Ross Island – Port Blair City Tour

Proceed to Ross Island, the erstwhile capital of Port Blair during the British regime. The island presently houses the ruins of old buildings like Chief Commissioner’s House, Government House, Church, Bakery, Press, Swimming Pool, Cemetery, etc. and all in dilapidated condition. After lunch, with the sightseeing tour in and around the city like Naval Marine Museum (Samudrika) – gives a good retrospect of the history, shells, Corals marine life, geography and archaeology of these islands, Chatham Saw Mill – one of the oldest and largest wood mill in Asia, Forest museum – offers an insight into forest activities through scale models and displays decorative pieces made of famous woods, Anthropological Museum – displays tribal essential and artifacts. After lunch, proceed for Fisheries Museum (Aquarium) – exhibits species of marine life peculiar to the islands.

Day 7 : Depart From Andaman Islands
After breakfast check out from hotel & transfer to Port Blair Airport / Harbour for Return journey.
